[3] The time machine was repaired and ready to go. With a loud rumbling noise it launched into the sky - to visualize it looked like those epic recordings of the Apollo 11/ Saturn V launch. While it ascended to the sky, the cave paintings can be seen on the side of the time machine.

[2] He has to repair the time machine (like no other time traveler movie used that idea before) and he gets help from homo sapiens and homo neanderthalensis. They love the space shuttle so much, that they decorate it with paintings like the cave pintings of Lascaux,Chauvet, Rouffignac or Pech Merle.

[1] I‘m fighting a flu/cold at the moment. But my fever dreams are epic:
A time traveler ended up in paleolithic Europe (and his time machine looked like Saturn V from the Apollo 11 mission or a space shuttle? I don‘t remember but both concepts sound epic).

This is absolutely beautiful! And you chose a very beautiful image to be your first tattoo!
And who knows, maybe our Aurignacian, Gravettian, Solutrean or Magdalenian ancestors had a very similar tattoo on their bodies as well ☺️

What a stunning reconstruction of a megaloceros!

The 3D print looks super blocky. I‘m not such a big fan of how it looks right now, but maybe the person who created the file will improve it a little bit.
Just the fact to find a free file of a Homotherium (scimitar cat) to 3D print is already mindblowing.

My most recent 3D print: A Homotherium (scimitar cat). It‘s unfortunately not clear which species.
I used the print setting of 0.2 mm (speed) and Prusament PETG as filament. I prefer Prusament PLA but the 3D printing office ran out of PLA at the moment and I don‘t know when they restock it.

I hope so!
The Rouffignac cave (with mammoth cave paintings) would be cool as well! Oh and I would love to visit the Neanderthal museum at one point in the future! ☺️

Oh this is absolutely amazing! Visiting the Lascaux and Chauvet cave (and the LaBrea Tarpits) is on my bucket list! I‘m really happy you had the chance to visit Lascaux! 😁 It must have been an experience like none other!
The small bison statue is famous! Super awesome you could visit it as well! ☺️

[2] Not only because this is closer to the future work format (you usually don‘t have exams at your job) but because it‘s a more suitable format for me as I‘m not good in memorizing stuff for exams - but I‘m good in assignments and reports.

[1] I started with my Master of Science in Geochemistry this week 😊 A lot of work (as usual) yet more reports, assignments and presentations rather than exams. I prefer this format.

I got my Bachelor of Science diploma from my university yesterday 🥳 Still quite the beginning of an academic career, yet it‘s a huge step for me!

My mom said that in the worst case that we don‘t find anything new, we might have to give away our cats 😢 Please no!

Well damn, our landlord informed all tenants today that they will knock down the whole building in the near future. Everyone has to move out until March 2027 🫤 So in about 1.5 years. We all will contact the tenants union. Maybe we can gain a bit more time.
