I've lived most my life as these short, intense connections with people. Folks who had my back, and I had theirs. Often, people I didn't agree with politically or socially, but when you're in the chaos of a gig that goes away. That kind of connection is the thing that gives me hope for the future.

Had a friend from the road pass away today. Its got me ruminating on my old life.
You show up to a shop, meet a bunch of people in, and then for months on end you share every meal, you bleed, you sweat, and you go to hell and back together. And then you go home and usually you never speak again.

And they’re all so cool!
