I don't either and I teach/taught in the humanities. Read and then come in and discuss it (with bk& notes, nothing else), and then go home and write papers about it. I very consciously teach the way I was taught. The students always seemed to like it a lot!

He's 17 and wants to go to college (since he's taking the ACT). If he can't extract the info and transfer it to the calendar as a HS senior, I don't think he will be able to manage college next year. Executive fcn skills have to be practiced.
