Mr. Helgus

Set in profile, the pretty face of a woman devolves into an abstraction of patterns that stretch far past the natural end of her head suggesting an ornate headdress while simultaneously seeming quite organic to her as if she were made of chaos. She holds a hand delicately to her chest but the tips of her fingers suggest claws and the skin from the back of her hand down her arm isn’t smooth but more grotesque in texture. The cloth covering her is white and ethereal.

the unfamiliar hand pulsating, really everything was, the seats the walls, the writhing air the sulfurous yellow, but an unfamiliar set of finger really transfixed everything about that 3 am ride

3am Transportation

super mario odyssey is undoubtedly one of the best 3d mario platformers made in 2017

the structure of the areas is what gets me tho

i like the desert as a hub its surprisingly chill and enjoyable to just cruise a bit throughout

but the areas themselves feel a bit less open than previously like youre supposed to go through them exactly once and thats it

i missed the exploration

playing the game feels great and reminds me a lot of the older games

the things that many people have critizised didnt affect me all that much especially the bike and npcs which flipflopped between charming annoying interesting and underutilised for me

i have many thoughts on prime 4 and i do like it a lot but the ending peeved me quite a bit

i had a big theory going about the story and where it goes with a twist at the end aaand none of it turned out right

i really hope theyll continue where it left off because otherwise it would feel wasted
