I was an election worker in 2024. A senior position. The ONLY people I turned away from the polls because of invalid ID were US Citizens legally registered to vote. Some had expired licenses or passports. One even had their voter registration card but we had to turn them away. Not immigrants.

I don't think activity is going to help you heal. Private time & silence, allowing your conscious mind to go where it wants to, will be more helpful. Find your true strength. At the same time talk to others who have gone through similar abuse. Share your strength with theirs. Blessings!
