When the US opened bases in countries like Germany it was to protect those countries from threats, chiefly the Soviet Union. I suppose Qatar is going to protect Trumpland from threats like the American people.

Fewer than 1 in 10 of our Congressional races are considered competitive - in a country that's politically more or less 50-50.

I strongly object to the comparison many are making these days between Stephen Miller and Joseph Goebbels.

I think it's deeply misguided, and unfair, to compare them.

Goebbels was a far better propagandist, and didn't execute much policy.

Miller far more closely resembles Heinrich Himmler.

I want to live in a country in which years from now anyone who was a federal agent carrying out these horrors on human beings will be shunned by decent society including employers. I mean, who could trust such people, socially or professionally. They have proven they will do horrific things.

If you wonder how bad the Epstein Files are for Donald, he had the federal government shut down so you wouldn't find out.

Now that this is settled, just release the Epstein files.

This current American presidential administration is run by people who are quite obviously mentally ill, and we need to start talking about that.

A pattern is developing where everyone who fights back against a Trump attack inevitably wins with their reputation much better than before, and everyone who caves to him looks like shit and has Trump coming back for more a month later.
