Just started my Cusor AI journey. Going in mostly blind. I described my initial thoughts for a project and it’s immediately off to the fucking races. Holy crap. I may have to can all this and start it over. It’s the most eager junior dev ever.

Slowly leaving the 200lbs behind. Reach a new low weight this morning at 199.0. Doing basically very low carb to keto. Feels great!

I hope that everyone demanding the release of the Epstein files won’t be surprised when the Trump administration releases them without a single mention of Trump.

So, now that NPR has been defunded by the bad guys, maybe it can become fully independent and supported entirely by listeners. I think it was 90% or so listener supported before this.

Feels pretty good to mark as junk every single fundraising text I get from Democrats around the country. They have failed the country, such as what remains of it. They’ve proven, even if elected they have no intention of doing anything useful at all.

I just reached a huge milestone - weighed in this morning at 199.9lbs. Under 200lbs for the first time in at least 25 years! Feels good man!

Yet again at the lowest weight I’ve been in probably 30 years. Only 0.9 lbs to go until I’m under 200 lbs! These last 3 or 4 lbs have been VERY slow in coming off, but I’m not in a big hurry.

Well, that was definitely the best I’ve ever made the custard, but I TOTALLY forgot to get mushrooms, so it was kind of boring. Delicious, but could have been way better.

For dinner tonight I’m making chawan mushi and spinach gomaae. Chawan mushi is a savory egg custard made with dashi, eggs and tonight I’m adding shrimp, mushrooms, and a spinach leaf in each cup. If you have a steamer, chawan mushi is pretty easy to make! Relatively cheap too!

I’m 56 years old and still very entertained by comedy novelty albums. Currently listening to Richard Cheese’s Big Cheese Energy.

This Independence Day I’m thinking about the great potential that the United States still has, regardless of everything going on right now. The bad guys won’t prevail in the end, and we’ll be able to move forward on building a better country.

I’m thoroughly disgusted at all of the Democratic fundraising attempts today. That’s their response to Trump’s fascist takeover. Asking for more money. To continue to do nothing meaningful.

As I predicted all the “drama” around whether or not the fascist bill would pass was purely theatrical. If only 3 Democrats hadn’t died in office…

Weight loss “problem” - I had to get my custom suit remade because it was more than a size too big. Now I need to STOP losing weight so it will fit me nice for my son’s wedding, but I don’t want to stop losing weight.

I’ve finished a bit more than 3 weeks of Pimsleur Japanese, and I’m really impressed. I think it’s a fine way for anyone to begin their Japanese journey and it has been great listening/speaking practice for me. I learn one or two new things each lesson too.

So, is MAGA falling all over themselves to give up all their holidays now? LOL

Could the Democrats find a less smarmy face than Newsom? Just asking

Before work this morning, I found a Live TikTok of dogs having a total fucking BLAST at a doggie day care jumping and swimming in a pool. I think that would be a really fulfilling job - helping make dogs super happy.

Woo! I have hit a new lowest weight on my weight loss journey! Very slow progress, but at this point I’m fitting in smaller clothes all the way around, and I’m quite happy!

Dear AT&T, I realize that Father’s Day is coming up, but it’s NOT cool to ask me to buy my father, who passed away in 2017, a new iPhone.

In addition to my other Japanese studies (mostly around learning kanji and vocab), I’m going to try using Pimsleur since I need a lot more speaking and listening study.
