#Nuggets Jamal Murray will be in the 3-point contest, adding to his big All-Star weekend

Through the first half vs. Brooklyn. I’ve loved the Nuggets approach to this game. Taking possessions seriously. Taking the opponent seriously. And as a result, they are getting whatever they want on offense.

Jamal Murray, Jonas Valanciunas and Peyton Watson are all expected to play tonight vs. Detroit. All three missed the Nuggets’ last game, at Milwaukee. The team didn’t arrive back in Denver until Monday evening due to travel complications from the storm that postponed their game at Memphis on Sunday.

The Nuggets game today at Memphis has been postponed due to bad weather conditions as a result of the huge storm battering many parts of the US. Buses to get equipment to the arena were not able to make it.

Like a kid immediately playing with a new toy for their birthday, the Nuggets got Jonas Valanciunas back from injury tonight and went to him early and often for offense. And he delivered. It’s great to have him back for points/rebounds and offensive balance. #NuggetsSky

Jamal Murray has been masterful with his passing in his last 2 games. He is the only player in the NBA this season with consecutive games of 15+ assists.

The Nuggets scored 44 points off of his assists tonight meaning including his scoring (22 points) Murray accounted for 66 total points. Unreal.

Wow! The Nuggets with the upset victory tonight. They played unreal. Jalen Pickett with 7 3-pointers and 29 points.
This is their best victory of the season, bar none.

Really good effort from the Nuggets but just could not make a shot in the 4th. They were 4-of-20 overall and 1-of-12 from the 3-point line. They committed 5 turnovers in the period as well. Loved the approach to this game, though. They play like this going forward, they’ll win more than not.

Just an excruciating night for the #Nuggets tonight with Nikola Jokic going down with an injured knee in the loss to Miami. We should get more clarity of the severity of it at some point on Tuesday.

To put that in perspective, they scored 23 points in the entire 4th quarter, and 25 points in the entire 2nd quarter. And those are 12 minutes long.

Murray is simply playing the best basketball of *literally* his entire life and if this man does not make the All-Star team this season, it would be a total crime.

What Jamal Murray is doing from the 3-point line this month is insane. After making 9 last night vs the T-wolves, Murray has made FIFTY (50) 3-pointers in December, which leads the NBA.

He also has the 4th-most points (306) & 5th-most assists (83) in December. #NuggetsSky
