It isnt, youre right, and its the current saving grace given to us by Archon as well as the ruleset.
However my point still stands: the cancellation of STLs is anti consumer and they did not need to do it. If they had the facts, they can present them or communicated that the future is plastic in ks
Thats why I posted in disagreement to their decision because it doesnt add up
I do hope it means a major boost for them and more awesome TC stuff that is affordable and reachable for more folks

I am not aware of anything beyond his statement which has yet to be refuted by FF. It has been noticed by many creators however
You can see its og render in his patreon banner im assuming. He also got banned off of the discord because of it

So thats my point, right? If they say that even though this piracy exists, it still hasnt spread enough. Furthermore its mini agnostic so that can also be viewed as ‘piracy’ in a way (it denies them a sale)

I fully understand this.
But which is it? Is 3d printing not big enough to have the reach they expected and is 3d printing hurting their plastic sales? Why not release both? Thats my only argument.
I would have no issue with them releasing stls later than plastic kits, for example.
