50 years ago, the Edmund Fitzgerald, a 'rock star' ship, sank in Lake Superior Twenty-nine sailors drowned when the Edmund Fitzgerald went down in the Great Lakes' icy waters on Nov. 10, 1975. The ship was immortalized in a surprise hit 1976 folk ballad by Gordon Lightfoot.

My friend Mr Cardinal and I were not happy with the cold front sweeping in today! I bundled up for 56° F with 10-15 mph winds and it was still shivery. I'm not sure where he found a fluffy down extra layer. We both called it a day around 4:00 pm. 🪶

Bamboo has been used for decorative framing, supporting massive reed scrolls - six to each side - that end in somewhat loosely curled rolls between the two layers of curtains.
