Why is this a snag in a series where he meets Blofeld for the first time ever in 2 consecutive movies; rejuvenates 15 years between San Francisco & Gibraltar, stays the same age for 6 years between Isthmus City and the bungee jump in Russia, & had his 1st assignment 43 years AFTER his 2nd one?!!

I could happily live in a world without any more new Bond, new Dr Who, new Shakespeare productions, Star Wars spin offs/films, or Sherlock Holmes adaptations…& I’ve enjoyed all of them, in part or in whole, in the past.

12 years on and I’m still WTF?!! about it (and Enemy) coming back. 😳

Even now, I still remember the audience bursting into laughter on Ken’s “I am Victor Von Frankenstein!” and that was that. Two hours of scoffs & groans followed - it was relentlessly unforgiving 😩😂

Earthling doesn’t sound like any other 90s dance/rock, beyond one cheeky reference to Prodigy’s Firestarter.

Outside only sounds like NIN fleetingly. Bowie’s vocals are cool/remote, Trent’s passionate/frenzied. The music is more ambient & jazz influenced than industrial.

My first listens to both these were incredible. My then-girlfriend had Outside on cassette & I was just staggered by it when she played it.
