I think ultimately it’s a numbers game. Some days you lose bad matchups as expected but you also lose good ones because they had explosive turns and you demote. Others you roll people over and over. I found learning other good decks like aggro abyss helped me figure out what every deck hates seeing.

I think it comes down to the fact that nothing can beat rune if it draws very well. I’ve had excellent sword hands fold to double Anne. I’m losing for tempo on the god tempo deck to a late game combo deck!! It can be frustrating. Conversely, I’ve had rune concede on turn 4 to a bricked hand.
