Go forth. Make something weird, uncomfortable, hyperspecific to your interests, provocative or otherwise unique. We are all so much more than what we can sell to people

That said, artists NEED to make deeply personal weird stuff sometimes. In the same way that we unmask our full personalities when alone, our art needs moments where it's not something you can just slap on a t-shirt and call it a day. Do u understand me. Does this make sense

Kinda wild how artists have to distill their works into the most palatable and marketable forms if they wish to make a living on their art.... a lucky few can carve out a hyperspecific niche, but otherwise, you gotta choose the niche closest to you, whether that's fandom or semirealism or whatever

my friends keep asking me what i want to do for my birthday and i dont know how to answer this is so much pressure

when will scientists figure out why we think "hmm minecraft sounds kinda fun rn :)" and then when we boot it up we just run around our base in circles for an hour and close the game.

I didn't like that, so I wanted to draw her fat and happy. I tried to model her like an opera singer. Let me know what you think!
