Most Agents in my code are for mocks of retries π
If I have a scenario like:
- same call -> return timeout
- same call -> return 500
- same call -> return valid response
It is easiest to start an agent and let the mock as it for the response. Otherwise, I also don't remember using Agents.

Somebody will come up with a solution that will give you benefits of both :)
Elixir is dynamic and super expressive while newest release gives a bunch of benefits of static typing :)

I got a big βEnterβ button for Xmas. Any productive thing youβd use it for?
07.01.2025 10:38 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0
I want computers and consoles to have physical "update all button" that:
- turns the machine on
- updates system, packages, games
- turns the machine off
I have limited time to play video games and turning the machine on just to watch it download is frustrating.

I think it depends on the context. At work it is good to think before saying. In social media, stating something wrong will make a lot of people give you a lot of really insightful advise π
The trick is to saying something wrong instead of asking question π

We read that she would pee outside when she can't hold it any longer and then we should treat her, so we started to change with my wife. At around 15:00 we gave up. She came home running to the mat peeing all over everything one her way :P

We had more issues teaching her to poop and pee outside :D In the shelter they told us, she needs to take a second dose of a vaccine before she can go out, so she was using the mat for three weeks.
When we finally took her for a walk, we started at 8:00am. At 12:00 we were somewhat despearate :P

I remember our first couple of nights with a puppy from a shelter. We took her next to our bed so that we can just leave one hand hanging of the bed for her to sniff. That was enough for her to not bark go to sleep again.

I love coding. The only thing that makes work a struggle is the pressure of deadlines. Working on my personal projects wtihout any pressure just for the fun of it sounds great :)
And when I am tired of coding I can play some Factorio :D

I β€οΈ Elixir's community push towards static checks. It is not only about types! I was upgrading to LiveView 1.0 in a couple of projects and it detected places with duplicate ids.
The feeling of safety of a static language with expressiveness of a dynamic one is absolutely unique.

My colleague travelled for a conference with RPI and a bunch of sticking cables for some motors and leds. If you take it all out with laptop and other electronic, it is fine.
If it runs on battery, you need to have it in the cabin bag.

It is possible to safely overtake a cyclist and be far enough from the car coming from the other direction.
Also, the picture does not take speed into account.
Cyclist would rarely try to overtake car driver and his passenger :)
17.12.2024 09:10 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0
In Poland, riding abreast is illegal. The car driver is legally obliged to preserve 1m of space when overtaking the cyclist.
Many roads are wide enough for the driver only to cross the middle by a couple of centimetres.

Oh, yes! As a former Spacemacs user, this is like the search edit buffer (C-c C-e), but in Zed it is the default without hitting anything more after search. This is brilliant!
