Y en el panorama actual, en el que ninguna IA te dice de manera clara “no sé hacer esto”, ya es un primer paso valioso hacia el usuario que Wikipedia ponga ese aviso de “OJO, el contenido generado por IA es menos fiable que el resto”. Llevamos dos años tragando con que la IA es la hostia

Fíjate que es la única plataforma masiva de contenido generado por usuarios que ha conseguido resolver de forma coherente y funcional los muchos problemas de que cualquier usuario puede participar en ella y que a la vez no sea un pozo infecto de basura.

Con tiempo, se pondrán aun más medidas extra, o se buscarán nuevas soluciones, pero parte de la existencia de wikipedia es posible por el buen balance de poder, los mecanismos de control, etc… Nada de eso es sencillo cambiarlo rápido sin llevarte por delante cosas importantes.

Y es mejor ir avisando cuando se detecta que el contenido puede haber sido generado por IA que no poner nada. Parar la bazofia generativa es imposible: hay que tener más manos mirando y eso es complicado. A las wikipedias pequeñas aún se les va a hacer más difícil todo.
