How the Civil War Got Its Name - JSTOR Daily From "insurrection" to "rebellion" to "Civil War," finding a name for the conflict was always political.

I got curious and did a bit of looking around. According to this article, it wasn't called a Civil War until after it was over. During the war, the North called it a rebellion and at first an insurrection. Actually interesting to see how the name changed over time and how politics played into it.

MAGA and its overlords want the shutdown. It accelerates Project 2025. I agree Schumer needs to retire. Too much is on the line for these people not to understand what it going on.
