Production of a meteorite strewnfield as consequence of the meteoroid fragmentation and the subsequent drift due to the aerodynamic drag experienced by the meteorites of different shapes and masses moving across the atmosphere (Gritsevich et al.)

Zoom-into a study-case scenario, corresponding to an approximate area of ∼ 1,200 km2 in Central Europe. Accumulated meteorites were randomly distributed in the region and represented with grey dots. Three ellipses in the considered area are seen in red, corresponding to the regions where a research team would look for fresh meteorites. There is one coincidence between a fresh meteorite and an accumulated meteorite in the upper-left ellipse, colored as blue. Scale bar is 10 km (Grèbol-Tomàs et al., 2025, MNRAS)

NGC6960 o Nebulosa de la Escoba de la Bruja o Velo Oeste es una parte del remanente de supernova que conforma el Lazo del Cisne.

En la parte inferior vemos NGC6979 conocido como Triángulo de Fleming ya que fue esta astrónoma quien lo descubrió en placas fotográficas. #astrophotography

#Meteoros: Un poco paradójico que sólo se hable de las #DeltaAcuáridas cuando las últimas noches asistimos a un significativo estallido de bólidos del enjambre de las #AlfaCapricórnidas y también comenzamos a ver #Perseidas. Podréis identificarlas viendo su procedencia en algún radiante en ls cartas
