Hey everybody, I'm gonna have to cancel tonight's show. I've been dealing with quite a lot of muscle spasms in my back and it's very painful. I've been resting since Thursday night, after my doctor told me I need to take muscle relaxers and try to rest it.

I did bring CBD roll on which does seem to help quite a bit. We also do have lidocaine patches at home, but I didn't think to bring them with me on this trip. I'll be OK for a day or two come up but when we get back home I'm gonna start using them again.

To make matters worse, I'm on a work trip up north. Laying on uncomfortable hotel beds isn't helping. The good news is that sitting in the car seat seems to be the only place where I feel comfortable.

My back is really unhappy. It feels like somebody is taking a pair of vice grips and just squeezing my right rib along the back. Every time I move, a twinge of pain. This all started that one time I wore heels. Things got better after about two weeks… But it came back with a vengeance!

My partner and I are headed to Bemidji to help blind seniors with their technology. I love going up north! It's so pretty and there's tons of fun little shops and whatnot up there. Also, we get to stay in a hotel and there's a pool and hot tub! We have a new queen bed waiting when we get back home!

I'm sure that it might help AI... but I am a real, living, flesh and blood low vision human being. I can tell you that your AI text is important. Without it, I often have a hard time understanding pictures because I'm not a very visual person. Also, explaining the joke in the Alt text is helpful. 

My partner and I bought a mattress earlier this week. We're heading over to the store to pick it up today. We still have to buy a new bedframe. I'm also looking for a really nice cooling blanket and pillow. I tend to run really hot, so I'm looking for something that will help.

I'm back from electrolysis. Thankfully my technician was able to zap quite a few hairs. I'm so tired, and my face hurts. I just counted, and I have had 26 electro sessions and 18 laser sessions. I can't wait to be done with all of this.

Dammit, my undiagnosed ADHD got me again! I have electrolysis today, and I'm not supposed to shave for a day or two before the appointment. I forgot yet again! I hope my technician doesn't have too hard of a time today.

My friend Angela wrote this iOS and Mac app that will read Reddit out loud to you. It has a sleep timer, continuous mode, and it works great with Voiceover! Just search the App Store and look for an app called Seddit... spelled S E D D I T.

Trying out this new Openvibe app for cross posting on Mastodon, Bluesky, and Threads. It seems a little buggy, but I'm glad I can cross post at least these three social networks. Now, if only I could get Facebook in there! I deleted my Twitter account, so I'm not worried about that.

As a visually impaired person, cars have historically been kinda boring to me. But, recently I have been wanting to understand the tech in cars more. My wife is encouranging me to get my face up by the screens and it makes me so happy that they wanna see me learn about car tech!

I really want to get more engaging content and friends on here, but I'm having a hard time finding my existing friends. I also would like to engage with more blind people, trans people, queer people, and progressive people. Are there pre-made lists of these type of people? How do I find them?

I love David Rose from Schitt's Creek. He has many layers like a very gay onion. 

Great Scott! Today is the 40th anniversary of Back to the Future! This is probably my favorite movie trilogy of all time. The first time I ever saw it was on VHS at my grandma's house. I'm guessing it was probably 1988 or 1989 when I finally saw it.

I have decided that I'm not going to do a show tonight. As you may have heard, I gouged my head on the underside of a door frame of a car on Wednesday and had to get staples put in.  i'm gonna spend the rest of this weekend just resting and recuperating. Thanks for understanding!
