We lived in a building that, during the single year we were there, had more than 40 fire alarm incidents. I think maybe 2 of those actually had any concern to them. Didn't matter... we hauled ourselves, the cat in her carrier, the dog on a leash, down the EIGHT flights of stairs every time. 🫠

A couple months ago, the machine translator on a French gov't website melted down at me. Instead of a list of prohibited offenses for getting a visa, it just listed "murder" x10.😅

Moments when I remember my pets are rescues:
Listening to French streaming radio. There's a few clips from a recent French film that has two people having an argument, fairly tense.
My pets don't know French, they both look at me with concern.
Spend a minute or so talking them down from mild panic.😅

There's a Canadian author here who gets the most amazing responses... Most of them insisting that the author is somehow involved/responsible for U.S. politics... Their user pic says "I am Canadian", "Canadian" is in their name title, & they have the Canadian flag prominent. 🤦‍♀️
