Happy Halloween! π
I don't often hear about families watching documentaries, but maybe people just talk about Bluey more than Planet Earth? π Seeing animals in real life when possible would be the best! Of course, it's difficult for many, especially those living in cities, to see animals in their natural habitats.

Hey hey! π Iβm Kelly, a Senior Customer Advocate at Buffer π
If youβve ever searched our Help Center for answers, thereβs a good chance youβve seen something Iβve worked on!
Weβve been busy this year making things clearer, friendlier, and more helpful. Want to see what weβve been up to in 2025? π
This is a genuine question for parents and experts, not trying to be snarky or judgmental: Why do we let kids watch animated animal characters on screen and take them to see trapped animals in zoos rather than just letting them watch nature documentaries?

Ask me anything about remote working and the 4-day workweek.
I've worked remotely for the last 10 years at @buffer.com
We implemented 4-day workweeks in 2020, and we have not looked back. buffer.com/resources/cu...

Join us at 12pm, 20 September on Portland Place.
Do you want billionaires and oligarchs to own your country?
It's simple, really. We need to tax the super-rich.
Join us and @garyseconomics.bsky.social on the Make Them Pay demonstration in central London on Saturday 20 September.

29.08.2025 10:24 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0If you agree, please join @clientearth.bsky.social to email your MP and ask for a stronger climate plan. Our voices, together, can make a huge difference. π

The UK government must publish a new plan by this October. This is our moment to speak up. π’π’π’
No matter who we are or where we live, we all deserve clean air, affordable energy, and a future our children can thrive in.
The UK governmentβs climate plan has been ruled unlawful twice because it doesnβt show how weβll meet our targets. Instead, it pours billions into risky technologies instead of proven solutions that cut emissions, lower bills, and create jobs. π
13.08.2025 10:17 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0There will not be enough splash pads for our children to bear this heat in the future, as mapped out by the UK government's current climate plan. π₯΅

Itβs easy to feel hopelessβI get that. I feel it too, often. But giving up on our kidsβ future? Thatβs not an option. The best antidote to despair is action, and doing it together.
10.07.2025 10:54 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Lobbying is often associated with big money and corporate influence. But yesterday, we reclaimed that space. We showed up as parents to speak with our MPs about what truly matters: a greener, fairer world and a better future for our children. #ActNowChangeForever

This workshop didnβt offer easy answers, but it reminded me of the strength in facing these emotions honestly and the healing that comes from doing so in community, where we can find love and courage for the path ahead.
24.06.2025 16:36 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0As a parent of a young child, I often wonder how I'll be able to hold emotional space for them as they start asking difficult questions about the climate crisis. How do I help them become part of the solution while preparing them for the uncertainty when I am still learning to navigate my own fears?
24.06.2025 16:36 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0You might wonder why I joined a climate workshop when I donβt βwork in climate.β But the climate crisis touches all of us. I truly believe, as @projectdrawdown.bsky.social advocates, every job needs to be a climate job. Every one of us has a role to play.
24.06.2025 16:36 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0In just 90 minutes, we moved through love, rage, grief, and hope, with creative exercises that cracked me open and stitched me back together again. (Also, I somehow wrote a poem in five minutes?)
We didnβt walk away with answers but better questions, and the courage to sit with them together.βοΈ
