There are some church movements that put a huge emphasis on obedience (IBLP was like that), and I wonder if that’s part of it. We see MURDER as the primary issue, and she sees BREAKING A RULE.

And it’s not just students! The last superintendent of schools in Oklahoma hooked up with Tim Dunn, made a lot of noise & now heads a RW organization. There’s a whole lot of incentives there to NOT care about your actual job & responsiblities.

I recently got a PHEV and the speed with which the thing accelerates was actually quite off-putting. It’s not like it brakes any faster! I was finally able to find a “mode” where it punched less—I’m just trying to buy groceries, not break the sound barrier.
