@saffronolive.bsky.social the against the odds standard stone brain/lantern-like deck you played has been one of the more interesting decks I’ve seen in aaages.

Any chance a deck like that would work in Pioneer? Seems decent into phoenix or greasefang? But you might just get run over my mice.

I felt that most of my decks were high 3 low 4 with the old descriptions, which was a weird place to sit. But I think this makes it much clear that I have no bracket 4 decks so that's good to know.

Creature Comforts is great, it can be quite long though. There's also a spiritual successor game called Maple Valley which is a bit lighter.

Project L is fun. It's an action economy game about collecting Tetris pieces to complete cards to collect pieces to complete more cards for points.

I love the theme of Isle of Cats. I think there’s might be another couple games in the same “universe” as well.

Not sure why, but the I always do really well at Azul. >.<
And I love how cute Creature Comforts is.

Original Surgical Extraction has to be one of my favourite card arts of all time, and seeing the full piece for the first time makes it all the better. You're right, it was important. 💜

God, nature is so pretty. The photo of the lake and island look especially lovely. It must be so quiet and isolated on that island.

Like add protection in the car park, move the walking path, add non car options to get to and from school, changing the licensing laws or something. Sending a single old man to jail over a mistake he is already traumatised by won’t help anyone. It was wild.

There was a local case where an old man picking up a grandkid from school hit the gas instead of reverse when trying to leave a car park and killed a young girl. A tragic and avoidable death. But the calls for him to be jailed were wild. There’s so much to learn here but jail won’t solve anything.

It's so upsetting how normalised cars are. Every time anyone thinks of challenging the status quo, it's pushed back because cars are *obviously* the best solution to movement rather than like... anything that takes up less space, makes less noise, and causes less harm...

Huh, I guess you’re right. Just by translating wording in the card as closely as possible into Magic rules, you’d be able to play Infanaut as long as you didn’t play any cards during your opponent’s turn.

So it’s essentially a 6 energy (like the existing counters) 20/20?
