Younger patients 5x more likely to be offered mental health support, older patiens 6x more likely to be offered anti- depresants

I was out doorknocking this morning with Barnsley @teamlabouruk.bsky.social councillors and @stephanie-peacock.bsky.social . Met an elderly woman who was struggling to live alone and wanted to move into care - got her councillor to help. Labour locally helping its community.

Today is Equal Pay Day.
From now until the end of the year, women in the UK are effectively working for free.
The gap still sits at 10.9% and for many Black and Asian women it’s even wider.
We need equal pay, flexible work and transparency.
