Before Wednesday's game, Jonathan India was candid about how his season has been. While a drop in the lineup was matchup-based according to his manager, India knows results can drive those decisions, too.

Michael Lorenzen felt good during his rehab start last night and is expected to make another on Sunday.

He threw 66 pitches across 3 IP and came out of it with no pain. Likely will try to target 5 IP/75 pitches next outing.

X-rays were negative on Salvador Perez's left elbow. He lost feeling in his fingers, but it came back around the 7th/8th inning. Big mark on his elbow, and it's swollen, but seems like he avoided the worst case scenario. Of course he says he's ready to go for tomorrow.

Manager Matt Quatraro said the #Royals will see how they get through tonight and tomorrow with their bullpen before deciding Wednesday's starter.
