If you use CSV for translating strings in your game, Godot 4.6 has added two new columns to help translators: (1) specifying which words are pluralized and (2) adding context for ambiguous terms!

One cool thing Godot 4.6 added was the ability to dock tabs, so if there's something you need in a floating window, you can see it alongside other tabs at the same time! I've been using this a lot with the debugger and output tabs lately.

It's Game Dev Tip Thursday! In Godot 4.6, setting the pivot for Control nodes is easier -- rotating them around the center instead of the top-left corner is here!

Use pivot_offset_ratio to specify the pivot relative to the control's size (from 0 to 1).

I’m sure you’ve already read it, but Sanderson’s Stormlight Archives and Mistborn series are pretty good! For a less rigorous, but highly compelling magic system, I recommend Le Guin’s Earthsea series.
