We’ve had no detailed reports of the MRI scan on Donald Trump and he doesn’t remember much about it. Maybe they never did it. Maybe they slid him in, turned on a coffee maker and then told him they’d done it, handing him someone else’s results.

Koh: I think what we are seeing is what the founding fathers feared the most, which is the collapse of our checks and balances. The Supreme court is supposed to be a co-equal branch of government. It's basically a mouthpiece for Donald Trump at this point.

They might prefer to wake up to the breaking news that he’s gone into hospital, followed by his death, so they can solemnly mourn him(and canonise him at the same time). But going the Woodrow Wilson route would raise questions they never want to answer and issues they don’t want to deal with.

The worst case scenario for them may no longer be his death. They might be relieved by it. The true worst case is if he lapses into a coma for his last few weeks. Not dead, just hanging on.

I took a short break from going to the cinema and now there are at least 4 on my “to-do” list, including Wicked, Zootropolis 2 and possibly Eternity. I used to really enjoy going to the cinema, but I also used to live less than a mile away.

We *still* haven’t seen the Epstein files? I thought they passed a bill more than a couple weeks ago. They need to get on with it.
