A couple of weeks ago I opted for a partial hospitalization program due to struggles with depression. I didn't really think it would help, but I was pretty desperate. I'm glad to have been wrong, and I wanted to pass it along. If you need help, it does exist and you should go get it.

I've had some major bouts with depression in my life...becoming most acute in my mid teens. I've been fortunate enough to receive some excellent help when I needed it...from caring therapists and psychiatrists who found the best medication for me.

Get help if you need it. There is hope for us all.
