I gotta say "tearing the skin off to unleash the wolf underneath" is very good, though Van Helsing's version is a lot less gory than that one transformation scene in The Company of Wolves (1984)🐺

A cat named Ivan is putting away laundry when he sees the halloween candy bowl is empty. He thinks "Hey... Where did...? It was full this morning." He is shown then asking to someone off screen "Hey, do you know where the candy went? It's for the kiddos tonight."

Ricky (a fat spotted pitbull) is shown sitting at his desk on the computer with Ivan lingering in the background. Ricky says "oh ya, I had a few!"

The same pose is shown but wider, revealing under Ricky's desk. His trash can is full of wrappers and his belly is exposes slightly from his shirt. Ivan is crossing his arms and saying "JUST a few...?" while Ricky is looking away, caught red handed.
