I get to start testosterone. Woohoo.

I learned enough Spanish when working at Subway in Texas to help all of the workers who came in order sandwiches but I have apparently absorbed a lot more than I realized. Pretty neat.

Sitting out back, killing time until my first appointment at the gender clinic (I'm anxious). My neighbor is listening to something in Spanish and I'm realizing that I know a lot more individual words than I thought I did. Still have no idea what is being said but I know some of them words lol

I wish I could just disappear for a couple of days. No responsibilities. No chores. No relying on others. No making myself smaller to not make waves. Just whatever I want to do and no one to clean up after but myself. I'm exhausted deep in my soul.

KC stayed home from work today because of body pain so I grabbed waffle mix, bacon, and sausage from the store and made us a big breakfast. I love being able to do little things like this for them. Being disabled can make me feel so useless all the time but stuff like this helps.

KC is asleep and has their knee propped up on a spot that's always sore on my butt/hip. The pressure feels so good. Look at them being the best massage therapist even in their sleep. Love them so much. ;-;

Sometimes, I feel so unheard. Like I have to repeat myself over and over and over and finally just give in or give up because I'm just tired of repeating myself. And I know it can be from a place of caring but man it's still annoying.

The older I get, the more my politics mature from childish, naïve beliefs like "the world is complicated and leaders have to make hard decisions" to more serious, adult principles like "hurting people is bad and helping people is good."

"Live to Live" and "Hear my Hope" are the best songs of Season 2 in my opinion. They really push Charlie's message forward. I can't wait for the next two seasons. Wish I didn't have to try to live through the horrors of this presidency to get to them. Lol

I truly believe that people can be better and kinder they just have to want to try. And it's funny to me how a show that receives so much hate for goofy things like "having too much cursing" or "everyone is gay" has such a wonderful underlying message coursing through its veins.

I really like Hazbin Hotel, man. I can't deny it. I love a "people can be redeemed but they have to want to change" story. Like, I loved "It Starts with Sorry" in season 1 and apparently I'm one of the few and it really paid off in season 2 with "Live to Live".

I think the most important thing is just trying. I dont feel like I always have the best alt text either because I struggle the same way you've described but I try because there are a lot of visually impaired people who still love to enjoy art. It only widens your audience. :)

I can be awkward about showing people I care about them even when I really do. One way I do that is through sharing memes and videos. So, I get kind of sad when people don't look at the stuff I send them. Like...but but but I thought you'd like this...I guess I was wrong.

I pretty much only hear it used in relation to parking spaces. Otherwise I think it's mostly been phased out for different language whether its person first or not.
