Hoosiers across the state have made it clear that they strongly oppose mid-decade map rigging. In 2021, Republicans called these maps "perfect." If that is true, what is wrong with them now?

Nothing more than a power grab to distract from broken promises like lowering prices. This is nothing more than a political power grab, an attempt to silence voters, suppress diverse voices, & drown out the voices of minority communities.

JD Vance returned to Indiana to pressure Statehouse Republicans into rigging our state’s congressional maps to secure two seats. We’ve heard the “after-the-fact” manufactured faux justifications. But remember, Trump came out and said that quiet part out loud, “Go find me seats.”

As of last week, the federal government has officially shut down, and one of the most visible local impacts is limited staff at IN Dunes National Park.
As your State Senator, I’m not part of the federal budget process, but I’m here to represent you & share how this affects SD 4.

With a full house, the question was posed asking who was opposed to redistricting this year, and everyone raised their hands.

Please keep speaking up & holding lawmakers accountable. Let’s continue the pressure to reject any mid-decade attempts to rig our congressional maps.

I joined my colleagues from NWI in raising concerns about the EPA’s recent proposed rollbacks in our region. IN has been ranked last in the nation for environmental quality for far too long. I will continue to advocate for strong protections for our environment and public health.

After many insightful discussions, I am committed to making this a reality to strengthen public transportation in our state. Improving transit has always been a priority for me, especially with the successful expansion of the South Shore Line in NWI. #INForAll
