Extremely timely& precious exchanges today at #WEF26 with HE Minister @Khalid_AlFalih @MISA &key business leaders during Saudi-Europe Investment Roundtable on making the most of the strategic& reliable EU-Saudi partnership also in view of the 2nd EU-GCC Leaders Summit in Riyadh.

Excellent end of year exchange and assessment on the implementation of the EU strategic partnership with the Gulf region with the EU MS Ambassadors in the #PSC brilliantly chaired by Delphine Pronk @FienBZ.

Inspiring 9th @EU-@GCC Business Forum just ended in Kuwait. 600+ participants from EU & Gulf. Special thanks to @KDIPA hosts, but also Cssr @MarosSefcovic, EIB VP @yannistsakiris1, @GCCSG Al-Budaiwi for attending, to @DialogueEu-GCC on Econ Divers. & @EU_FPI for their support.

A real honour to be hosted by the #MBMA_News for the "One hour and forteen minutes" dialogue. Inspiring to see the energy and motivation of young Bahraini diplomats, as well as of the leadership and staff of the Bahraini Diplomatic Academy.

Just concluded two key ministerial meetings of the EU-GCC Joint Council & High Level Forum co-chaired by HE Foreign Minister Al-Yahya @MOFAKuwait & HR/VP @kajakallas. The substantive exchanges & the joint statement reflect the growing ambition, trust (1/2)

and a sustainable&inclusive regional security order. This is the spirit in how we approach the annual EU-GCC foreign ministers key meetings on 5-6 October in Kuwait. They will be essential to reinforce our strategic coordination on joint solutions and diplomatic efforts. (2/2)

Historic day for moving to the next level of ambition:  today EU Member States authorised the High Representative and the European Commission to launch negotiations on a Strategic Partnership Agreement with each of the GCC countries. Happy to contribute to make this a success!

Removal from the #EU list of high-risk countries, proposed by EU #Commission and approved by the #EP, recognizes #UAE efforts to improve its #AML/CTF regime. We will continue to address jointly these challenges, and strengthen cooperation.

Great panel and exchange today in London at the Concordia Europe Summit #Concordia25 on the strategic depth, relevance and impact of the EU-GCC partnership on advancing peace&security at regional and global level.

Honoured to represent the EU at the preparatory meeting in NY in view of the June UN High-Level Conference on the two-state solution to be co-chaired by France and Saudi Arabia. EU is working very closely with its partners to bring about concrete results towards a lasting peace.

Key Global Alliance meeting today in Rabat co-organized by Morocco & Netherlands. The EU & its partners developed concrete action oriented inputs to the UN High Level Conference in June. Urgent to deepen & accelerate the work of the Alliance to advance the Two-State solution.

Very insightful meeting today with @majedalansari Advisor to the 🇶🇦Prime Minister and Spokesperson @MofaQatar_EN on latest developments on key regional security files and avenues for joint🇪🇺🇶🇦 actions.

Today at @Investinom, @EUSR_Gulf delivered a keynote on EU-Omani relations, highlighting our strong partnership. Productive meetings with H.E. Qais Al Yousef @Tejarah_om, H.E. Salim Al Aufi @memgovom, and H.E. Khalifa Al Harthy, Undersecretary for Political Affairs @FMofOman.

Very honoured to have participated today in an amazing panel of experts on human capital development at @HCI_KSA. We exchanged on ways to develop education and training partnerships for our countries to adapt in a fast-changing world.

Very fruitful meetings and exchanges at @AntalyaDF this year. In this time of uncertainty in the Middle East and beyond, it was important to get insights from regional and international leaders and to explain to our partners Europe's action in the region.
