Having sat in local gov. I can say I totally understand why this is introduced and how easy enforcement will be. As someone with eyesight issues (resolved) I agree that banning people from driving is essential if they are impaired beyond correction.

The DVLA will enforce the test to qualify continuous licensing to drive. It's an easy change. And the police will happily support this without issue.
