Recently after bedtime, Amanda wanted a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Which I totally delivered but she informed that she found jelly on the fridge door and on the cat. I have no idea how that happened.

Today got derailed so much that when I completed 10 minutes of the 4 hours of work I planned to do, I felt like I accomplished enough to call it a day.

I got a bit high, I played video games, and watched a 1970s Kung Fu film. Not a bad Friday night at 48.

Once again I’m high and watching a kung fu movie. This one is a sci fi, 1993 film starring Michelle Yeoh, and others.

At 48 I’ve decided that if you’re not mortified by some of your own behavior in your younger years you’re a sociopath.

I love in some older movies they suck the poison out of a snake bite or dart wound, and they know when they’re done. Like is there a moment when you no longer taste the poison, you’re certainly ingesting? How do you know that you got it all?

I don’t think that debunks that it’s hard. It’s hard to do a lot of things successfully. Doesn’t mean well skilled, dedicated, and educated professionals can’t get it right most of the time. Don’t make it easy though.

I think getting high + an old kung fu movie might be my new jam. Currently watching 1966’s Come Drink With Me, directed by King Hu. The title doesn’t sound like a Kung Fu film but it is.

Watching Juror #2. The premise is interesting and the cast is great. But the dialogue is like the writer has only experienced movie cliches and never listened to real people talk before.

Just started The Madness (Netflix) and Say Nothing (Hulu). Strong starts for both.
