We’ve seen some shenanigans in the bar over the years!

One of our favs was when a local sea shanty choir came to film at our venue.

Plymouth is one of the UK’s most important naval cities, and the choir’s shanties explore hidden queer stories within our maritime history.

Gay saunas are social spaces as much as hookup places. At Manticore we have a large licensed bar, it’s a great spot to relax with a cocktail or a coffee, have a breather from the action, or get to know someone better.

Towels are provided (it’s an FAQ! so no, you don’t need to bring one!) and you’re given a locker key to keep your stuff safe.

We have two locker rooms, with space for about 100 lockers.
