Regarding our last post back in June, I'm sure you've all been anxiously awaiting our next update, and wondering where blancnote will be headed and who will be taking the reins going forward. We're very happy to announce that in the coming months, blancnote will be merged with Sounds in Solidarity. Our existing branding will be retained, and all of our current products will be moved to a new, fully-featured custom web platform that is currently in development. New events and sample packs will predominantly be managed by the SIS team, with blancnote staff providing consultation where needed. We thank you once again for your continued patience throughout this whole process, and we hope to get back up and running soon!

First off, apologies for the serious lack of communication on our part. You don’t deserve to be left in the dark on what’s going on for what’s been almost 5 months now. In case it wasn’t obvious by now, we’re currently on a bit of an extended hiatus; rest assured we’ve got some really cool stuff going on behind the scenes, but it’s taking a bit longer than we expected to get fully set up. We thank you enormously for your patience and continued engagement with our community. Without revealing too much, there’s gonna be a peaceful transition of power in the coming months; in other words, I’ll be stepping down as head of blancnote. I genuinely cannot express how grateful I am for the time I’ve spent organising all of our sample pack events and working with our incredible contributors, and I wanna sincerely thank every single one of you for allowing this vision of mine to become a reality. The new owner of blancnote has already been selected, and I’m confident they’ll fit right into the community and be able to captain this ship far better than I can /gen. Stay tuned!

blancnote was conceived as a vision for a multi-faceted support network for musicians, strictly outside the realm of actually releasing music. blancnote is not a label. Initiated by disphing in November 2023, we pride ourselves in providing unique opportunities and resources for up-and-coming artists within the online music space; while our offerings currently only include sample packs, this is just the first phase of a full expansion into other areas.
