The OG Mermaid is back! Time for some lore to boot! A descendant species of the Tiger Mermaid, regular mermaids are much more neighborly than their venomous counterparts. These creatures evolved from a collection of Tiger mermaids that acted more communal and passively than normal. As they evolved they lost their venomous spines, but the chemicals contained within the venom remained in their flesh. As a result, they are no longer venomous, but they are highly poisonous, so don’t come into contact with their blood or meat! To add to this adaptation, these mermaids are smarter than their more wild counterparts, and will even engage in some trades with humans on the surface. Since they are mammals, they do go up for air every so often, and it is by these times that they make trades. They even understand that every human is different, so they all retain some fear of humans, which is important for their survival. Those native to Qiwaki shores seem to trust lipones the most, being frequent traders with them, given the lipone’s inability to swim. In exchange for the fruits of land, mermaids will give lipones fish, their favorite meat. After trading, mermaids will usually linger on the surface to get their share of air. Despite having gills on their chest, they do not supply enough oxygen underwater, rather serving to lengthen the duration of whatever air mermaids get above the surface. They need to keep their gills moist however, so they wear kelp over their chest when above water. It is worth noting that mermaids are NOT Abominations; they are a natural part of the ecosystem on Earth, and should not be killed. Nor is there much to gain from killing one, given that their meat is poisonous

My sister’s cat is notoriously photogenic so she’s a gold mine

One of my OCs, Buighebi, who is a lipone! She's sitting atop a huge pumpking, offering the viewer a partly eaten pumpkin; she's asking "D-Did you want some?" The huge pumpkin sits atop an isolated patch of yellow grass, with a variety of botanical berries surrounding it, including varieties of squash, a plaintain, a big blueberry, a couple of mameys, and some slices of starfruit. The background has an autumn based color scheme going from brown to orange to yellow from the bottom up

Upinatomasaurs are just one example of Abominations taking some form of an extinct species. These reborn dinousaurs wield the element of atomic power, Nucleos… as if a resurrected dinosaur wasn’t enough of a danger in itself. The reason they're capable of wielding Nucleos is because of their place of origin; Ratumnal tar pits. The irradiated tar even continues to cling onto their bodies throughout life, and contains high concentrations of carbon 14. Radioactivity is highest on the blue glowing marks on its body, highest on the blue body horns, the casque, and tail. These dinosaurs make sure to always clutch 6 eggs with plus-shaped patterns on them, and are swarmed by 8 creatures called Electrinos. Electrinos carry some type of manifestation of an electron, and grant the Upinatomasaur stronger nuclear powers. This is another symbiotic relationship between Abominations, where the Electrinos get protection in exchange for giving the Upinatomasaur strength. The two creatures can be separated however; Electrinos that have parted with their guardian are called Ionios instead, and have much lower offensive potential. Though the Upinatomasaur can attack like any regular dinosaur with its bite or even perhaps its tail, they will of course utilize radiation by itself, and also can spit spare teeth that it grows and carries in sacs around its cheeks, as if they were bullets. You’re lucky they’re herbivores…but that doesn’t amount to much when they’re constantly protecting the eggs they carry, thereby keeping them highly aggressive. It is best to keep your distance from tar pits in Ratumn if you can, for Upinatomasaurs incubate their eggs in tar. Despite it being able to absorb the intense energy of Nucleos, it can’t stand Combustos, so fire away! Careful though, that tar could flare up in your face, so ultimately, mind your distance!!

Uncategorized Abomination surprise, an Upinatomasaur! Named so because it’s a dino that’s back up and at them, and it’s use of atomic power! Kinda giving monhun vibes. And a bit more sparkledog than I intended. Colors are pretty though!

The Tatatoombor haunts Aikhralia from Heaven with repeated banging from the machinations that comprise it. It oversees the groaning and banging noises its floating citadel makes that keeps the country’s residents wide awake. This has resulted in a period of restlessness in the fauna that dominate the mountains, threatening them to death from exhaustion. Heaven has also been responsible for removing vital nutrients from the soil on the Peak of Plenty, a keystone mountain for providing life. This is why Heaven is covered with large creeping thorns. Little is to be said about the Tatatoombors motives, given that the being is mute, despite the cacophony it brings to Aikhralia. It seems to assume a goddess form, controlling electrical currents with the 3 drums it keeps inside its tomb. It does not stray far from a room called the “Cell’s Cradle” in Heaven, given that it has a tactical advantage when surrounded by the electromagnets in the room. Within the coffin, it utilizes the magnets to levitate. Additionally, it may not be a biological Abomination, yet if it were an automaton, it would certainly be knocked out of commission from all the unusual electrical resonance present in Heaven. There is also the danger of auditory resonance, made worse by the Tatatoombor’s easy access to other instruments within its coffin; It can use sound to attack as well, putting Heaven’s reverberative construction to dangerous use. Even its own body is designed with reverb in mind; it has two pairs of eardrums. One being the usual pair of eardrums, and the second being quite literal drums around its ears, allowing it to listen closely to its surroundings. It primarily uses them to seek out thunderstorms to help power Heaven, capable of hearing thunder far more easily than human ears could comprehend. This is the version with a dark background to make it easier to see, I PUT SWEAT INTO THOSE LINES SO APPRECIATE EM!!
