This series was a punchline for every sitcom and standup comic for three decades, representing puerile, juvenile, unfunny. Watching it now, it’s nowhere near the worst sitcom or even the bottom 50. The acting is good, the plots are creative, and the Denver/Hale team is excellent (if derivative).
