It is kinda thick, bc it is just under 11mm in the thinnest parts and a bit more where the camera module is. It mostly looks thicc though bc of the overall dimensions. Most phones are about 7-9mm these days but these are waayyyyy larger so they seem thinner.

Infinix Note 60 Ultra smartphone hands on from MWC26

Here's an early look at the #Infinix Note 60 Ultra. Transsion is clearly gunning for folks with more money now. The thing features a 200MP Samsung main + 50MP 3,5x zoom, both with OIS. MTK8400U, 6,78" OLED, 7000mAh. health sensor, matrix display and JBL sound make it stand out.

here's a hands on look at the iQoo 15 Ultra at #MWC25. This one's trying to be the jack-of-all-trades super high-end but also gaming and photography smartphone. it features an active fan cooling system - and still is waterproof. Wonder how that works.... nice!

Samsung has a whole bunch of people doing this weird little "dance" all day, rubbing away black marks on the floor of their #MWC26 booth... imagine spending your days doing this, just bc they figured they need a glossy white floor.

This whole AI thing is helping bring back weird hardware, at least in some ways. This one is called Ikko MindOne

the press room is the most annoying place in all of MWC. no-one will ever stfu. plus you have the ppl with trade show influenza coughing and panting constantly.

and these are not in the hands of folks from Asia/China.

what do you mean "testing"? I'm in full prod ;) I just figured I'd put the stuff on the xps w the broken battery. turns out it's great, so within an hour I put it on the 11th gen Intel laptop that has a working battery. from there it was just a work of replacing the free/cracked tools i used before.

there's 0 need to stick to using US made proprietary crap. period.

little update about the Linux move. Writing and posting news stories works just as well and in the same time frame as when using windows. All thanks to notepad next, krita and a few other tools. videos are simply cut in shotcut bc I couldn't get resolve to work without crashing. so far, so good!
