When did I become a person who went to multiple meetings in a week? Help.

I am thankful for the people who have checked in on me before this storm. Folks offered to grab extra provisions while they are out, and offered their extra camp stoves in case power goes out. My friends are amazing and we spend so much time focusing on taking care of each other in different ways.

Pro tip: if you are already drunk and just found out one of your friends is dying, do Not go back and read texts from your friend who died a couple of years ago and suddenly realize you are approaching the date when they had to get rushed to the hospital for the surgery they never recovered from.

I have come to the conclusion that apple’s Garage Band is the single most un-intuitive piece of sound editing software I have ever encountered.

But wait! One conversation with my nail person later and she informs me that she usually used a button hook! So guess what my #vintage obsessed self already owns?

Things I have learned today:
1. Adjusting to long pointy demon nails took surprisingly little time, and the magic and quick slights I was hoping to pull off while wearing them are totally doable.

2. Doing up the tiny pearl buttons on my vintage gloves on the other hand… I will need help.
