Man. First time in years I've felt actively discouraged when working, and its with these freakin animations.

I guess thats the downside of focusing on illustration and modeling the last couple years, I neglected other skills.
The last 2 games also didn't have like any animation work on my end too

Good morning sketch time today! It was just fundamentals practice so I aint posting that.

I want to draw more tonight but I do have to practice more animation stuff. I gotta learn how make these animation look (and feel) great. Its hard

Agreed! I've assumed it's sort of skirt to help structure/protect it, but then a lot of fictional concepts include it in metal, usually with a pattern or extra detail

Problem is that I cant find any real life references to back up how or why that is? (I like to know how things work when I models)

In other news, ive been staring at table architecture for the last 10 minutes; attempting to understand how and why some round tables have "rims" in wood or metal.

Fantasy tables like having this weird metal rim and I can't figure out the why. Its a weird thing you'd never think about

Yeah I don't really know what happened but like 4-5 years ago I developed a fear of (usually solo) queuing multiplayer games. (Probably due to shyness, game toxicity and my over competitiveness)

I played stuff like R6, CSGO, and alike. I cant even imagine playing anything like them these days
