The movies had some bits that I liked, but overall, there was an overwhelming amount of “let’s torture Frodo” or just a big sense of “we are all suffering”. Not my favorite, either.

I honestly haven’t ever read them. I’ve seen the movies, sure (both the older animated ones and the new Jackson ones), but I’ve heard precisely how occasionally dry ad long-winded the original texts are, and I know I won’t enjoy them.

There’s a company here that uses to make all-vegan yogurt, and once upon a time, even sold them in these cute miniature terra cotta pots (food-safe coating on the inside, but they were reusable and compostable). Now they’re using plastic cups, and have decided to make protein yogurt with cow bits.

Oooh. That is a good mashup. And now it’s gonna be in my head the rest of the day.
