The Organization for the Foreign Legion's Motorized Companies did not differed much to that of the Tirailleurs (or Infantry in general) apart from no racial distinctions (as the Legionnaires are all whites), and its Transport and Supply movement changed from Wagons and Carts to Trucks.

So for the most of their existence within the Assault Gun Company, the 3rd Platoon acted as Replacement to replace the unavailable crew member and guard duty.
01.07.2025 17:57 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0It was not until a much later, another batch of Assault Guns arrived to fulfill authorized 11x StuG, as they initially run with 8x StuG. However the 3rd Platoon (Rynnรคkkรถtykkivaunujoukkue) would only receive their StuGs at August, exactly when the Armistice is at full effect.

A Company should expected to have 11x StuG III Ausf. G, and a BA-20 Armored Car.

Light Tank Companies from 1942 Raggruppamento Esplorante Corazzato (RECo) and Tank Squadron from 2nd-Gen Tank Btn. shared all similarities (from personnel to vehicles), with one difference.
RECo deploys 1x Maintenance Truck and 4x guys
whilst 2nd-Gen deploys 2x Trucks and 7x guys
Initially, 3x Battalions were raised under 2nd-Gen Tank Battalion format
4th Tank Group "Cavalleggeri di Alessandria", the 4th Tank Group "Cavalleggeri di Monferrato", and one Tank Group from "Cavalleggeri Guide" raised in 1942, using L6/40 Tanks, probably the same format.
๐ฎ๐นItaly's Tank Squadron/Company (Squadrone Corazzato) from 1941 till around mid-1942, the Squadron can be found at 3rd "Lancieri di Novara" (North Africa), 67th Armored Bersaglieri Battalion (USSR), and 3rd Tank Group "Cavalleggeri di Alessandria" (Balkan)

Either Deputy Leader or Squad Leader will be the BMP Commander.

(dont forget the 2nd artillery battalion is disbanded, leaving with 1st and 3rd artillery battalion (the anti-tank guns one))
17.05.2025 04:59 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Their solution is to borrow someone else's Artillery
2-3x Battalions of 75mm Modello 06 (2x from Pavia, and 1x from Trieste Division if 3 Btns),
and 1-2x Battalions of 100mm Modello 16 (1x from Trieste Division, and 1x from Pavia if 2 Btns)
Having Anti-Tank Guns as their main artillery doesn't come without (lots of) problems, indirect role do NOT suit well as ATG at the times, especially the 47/32 Cannon as they don't have good Muzzle Velocity, let alone the HE round running at 310 meters per second.
