The Organization for the Foreign Legion's Motorized Companies did not differed much to that of the Tirailleurs (or Infantry in general) apart from no racial distinctions (as the Legionnaires are all whites), and its Transport and Supply movement changed from Wagons and Carts to Trucks.

With one of the Companies from 2e REI were authorized to deploy 3x Armored Cars, presumably 4th Company as its not specified on who's exact unit to receive such Armored Cars, only specifically said 'one of the companies'.

1er REI deploys 1 Motorized Company, and 2e REI deploys 3 Mot. Companies with 1 Company to each Battalion (3x Battalions, each = 4x Infantry Companies, the 4th Company in the Battalion's order (4th, 8th, and 12th in this case) is Motorized)

while most of the Infantries (Tirailleurs, Zouaves, Colonial Infantry, and most of the Foreign Legion) within the Vichy's Army of Africa were entirely Horse-drawn (made fully true by May 1941), only certain (or handful) units within the Foreign Legion were Motorized

๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ทFrance's 4th Mixed Motorized Infantry Company (presumably) of the 2nd Foreign Infantry Regiment from 1940 till Operation Torch, it's the only Foreign Legion's Motorized Company to have an Armored Unit as the other Motorized Companies ran without it.

So for the most of their existence within the Assault Gun Company, the 3rd Platoon acted as Replacement to replace the unavailable crew member and guard duty.

It was not until a much later, another batch of Assault Guns arrived to fulfill authorized 11x StuG, as they initially run with 8x StuG. However the 3rd Platoon (Rynnรคkkรถtykkivaunujoukkue) would only receive their StuGs at August, exactly when the Armistice is at full effect.

3x Assault Gun Companies come under the command of a Battalion (Rynnรคkkรถtykkipataljoona) led by Major Eric ร…kerman, the Battalion consists of a Headquarter, 3x Companies, and a Repairshop Platoon. A Company should expected to have 11x StuG III Ausf. G, and a BA-20 Armored Car.

Light Tank Companies from 1942 Raggruppamento Esplorante Corazzato (RECo) and Tank Squadron from 2nd-Gen Tank Btn. shared all similarities (from personnel to vehicles), with one difference.
RECo deploys 1x Maintenance Truck and 4x guys
whilst 2nd-Gen deploys 2x Trucks and 7x guys

Initially, 3x Battalions were raised under 2nd-Gen Tank Battalion format
4th Tank Group "Cavalleggeri di Alessandria", the 4th Tank Group "Cavalleggeri di Monferrato", and one Tank Group from "Cavalleggeri Guide" raised in 1942, using L6/40 Tanks, probably the same format.

I need someone who knows Bulgarian Military (People's Army period preferably) or any actual Bulgarians to correct my illustrations, by sending me some real documents or anything relating to the People's Army Organizations (Company - Squad size)
DMs or something

this is serious

Grenadier team, and Machine Gunner(s). Warsaw Pact are notorious to issue MANPADs to their lower units (company-squad) on large scale, usually 3+ Strelas/company (variations depend on the Pact members).

Either Deputy Leader or Squad Leader will be the BMP Commander.

(dont forget the 2nd artillery battalion is disbanded, leaving with 1st and 3rd artillery battalion (the anti-tank guns one))

17.05.2025 04:59 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Their solution is to borrow someone else's Artillery
2-3x Battalions of 75mm Modello 06 (2x from Pavia, and 1x from Trieste Division if 3 Btns),
and 1-2x Battalions of 100mm Modello 16 (1x from Trieste Division, and 1x from Pavia if 2 Btns)

17.05.2025 04:59 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Having Anti-Tank Guns as their main artillery doesn't come without (lots of) problems, indirect role do NOT suit well as ATG at the times, especially the 47/32 Cannon as they don't have good Muzzle Velocity, let alone the HE round running at 310 meters per second.

In addition to having unique Squad, Paracadutisti also have their own unique Order of Battle, this is Folgore 185th Infantry Division just before departing to North Africa. Notice the Anti-Tank Guns as their main artillery (literally) #ORBATBoys
