Yes the CO2 rise 2023-2024 was faster than we predicted at Mauna Loa and was a record rise there - now the WMO confirm the global mean rise was also a record
Also the rate of CO2 rise is now above the IPCC scenarios that limit global warming to 1.5C

Just imagine the colossal impact on yields and food supply

This graphic shows four line graph time series and each are monthly from January 1984 through July 2025. The first graph is a 12-month running mean of global mean surface temperature anomalies. Anomalies are computed relative to a 1991-2020 baseline using ERA5 data. The second graph is monthly carbon dioxide abundance. The CO2 graph is the Keeling Curve. Current levels are 428 ppm. The third graph is monthly global methane abundance. Current levels are 1935 ppb. The fourth graph is monthly global nitrous oxide abundance. Current levels are 339 ppb. The three greenhouse gases show seasonal cycles and long-term increasing trends using data from NOAA ESRL. The global mean surface temperature anomaly record also exhibits decadal variability and a long-term increasing trend. All graphs are rising and shown in four different colors, including white, yellow, orange, and pink.

Vaikea kuivakausi on Suomessa ajan kysymys.

Since 1980, there have been over 400 weather disasters in the US, with total damages over $1 billion.
These disasters have cost $2.9 trillion in total and killed nearly 17,000 people.
Don't tell me we "can't afford" to address the climate crisis.
The truth is we can’t afford not to.
Last month's total #Arctic sea ice volume averaged the 2nd lowest on record for the month of May. This was about 38% below 1979 levels and 24% below the 1979-2024 May average.

Cover crop benefits are tied to cover crop biomass, but how much biomass do you need? Generally, more biomass is better, but thresholds differ for erosion control, soil benefits, and weed suppression.

Ocean warming has become so significant it’s now a semi-regular feature of TV weather reports here in Australia. A warmer ocean bleaches corals, raises sea levels, melts ice caps, stresses ecosystems, drives flooding rains and amplifies humidity. None of this is good news.
