This allows prospective employers in Syria to plan their workforce as they help reconstruct their country. Link in the comments

Countries that host many refugees, such as Jordan🇯🇴, bear hidden responsibilities no one ever talks about. E.g., 30 % of the babies and little boys and girls at the Al Hussein Social Foundation for Orphans in Amman, are refugees, yet in this loving home you wouldn’t be know.

Several refugee families left this morning for Syria. The High Commissioner happened to be in Amman and came to see them off. We waved goodbye, and as the buses left the station, we turned to leave ourselves. When we looked at each other, we realized that all of us had tears in our eyes.

Today I met three #volunteer #electricians, who have taken it upon themselves to fix the cabling in the homes of vulnerable #refugees in Zaatari refugee camp, in Jordan, to make them less prone to #fire accidents. Thank you!

The UNCT in Jordan 🇯🇴 met today with HE the Minister of Education and Higher Education, Dr Azmi Mahafzah.

Jordan has included refugee children in its schools for decades, and is working on strengthening inclusive education and education quality across the board.
