So much rubbish written about Amorin which has been leaked by United last few days. ‪Until the issues identified by LVG (not a football club), Mourinho (football heritage), Rangnick (open heart surgery) and Amorim are taken seriously, the club won’t improve.

It all stinks. Ashworth opposed Amorin coming in due to his system. They dismissed him. Then told Amorin to change the system that Ashworth said wouldn’t work. The owners & recruitment chose Amorin and knew his style. They then meddle and change the parameters. Teflon parasites. #MUFC

Mount and Ugarte can’t come on as subs. Neither can pick up the pace of the game. Manager has cost us two points taking off the two players who could hold the ball up and relieve pressure. Utterly dreadful performance at home, once again.

As a United fan, living in York, I could get behind Northern related team names. Leeds alienates so many, as you rightly point out. I suspect the target market doesn’t care though?

Dreadful from United. No plan other than counter attacking. We simply can’t control a game or maintain possession for any length of time.

Sesko had 3 touches in 42 minutes. Pointless buying him; he’s going to go the same way as Hojlund.

Slightly concerned. Felt we missed out last week against an Arsenal team that didn’t get out of 2nd gear. Plus we have no control over the game with Bruno playing centre midfield in a 2. I fear Amorin will die on a 3-4-3 formation without a GK or better midfield 2.

If United can sell Antony, Sancho, Garnacho, Onana, Shaw & Maguire for circa £150m, then use that money to target Donnarumma/Martinez, 1x ball playing CM and 1 x CF, then it would be a decent window.

At the same time, United need to stop paying over the odds for players. Ironically, he’s probably not far off that value, but they’ll hold out for £70m based on our previous behaviours and purchases!

For me, this is where players and agents need to start realising that higher wage demands require clubs to bring in revenue from those income streams. More games = tired players = lower quality. Certainly no United player, bar say Bruno, can argue they deserve £200k pw based on this season.

Perhaps, but the slow erosion of those willing to umpire at lower league level is already evident following player behaviour. Social media comments like ‘adjudged lbw’ ‘deemed to be caught behind’ don’t help the recruitment cause at either end of the spectrum. Without umpires, no game.

Totally agree. I’d say top 2 go up. Plus play off winner. Most are professional clubs too now so not much difference between league 2 bottom half and National League.
