I would say how ironic it is that people want to create ai selfies in Miyazaki’s style, but it’s the state we’re in. The general public doesn’t absorb his messages, or appreciate the skill it took to create their ”favorite“ films. Like all things it is a product.

A drawing meant to emulate an overwhelming Ispy page and a medieval manuscript. There is a blue frame, and it is surrounded with white flowers, a star, a unicorn fish, pointing to an opened book, and a moon. In the drawing there is a curious cat guiltily staring at the scribe while drinking milk from a bowl with a tea strainer, containing cat nip. An open diary with a page from a manuscript glued on it, with the a scribe doodling himself kissing the person the manuscript page is talking about. The scribes table is littered with small books, a candlewell, a measuring scale, oranges and a mirror. A pawprint is seen on the scribes WIP.

Sitara, a shrine maiden, who is yearning to be free. In our own understanding: he is a trans man trapped in a rigid society that could never let him free. His face is purposefully scarred: one eye gray and unseeing, mouth half split open as punishment. He used to be seen as beautiful. He wears long, red, embroidered robes, a long train, and white trousers. He holds hands with a blind toy maker, who lives beside the underfunded Abbey of unkind nuns who worship a transphobic interpetation of a death goddess, where Sitara was raised. The toymaker is blind, with a face scarred heavily. He carries on his person a variety of mechanical birds, toy drums, puppets and paper balls. He smiles, knowing he is safe with Sitara, as he is with him.
