Gonna finish off with a couple indies. I reviewed Everdeep Aurora for Shacknews, which is a game about searching for a home at the end of the world and about how our lives affect other people, even if we don’t always realize it. You should play it.

We have created the prototype:
👾 Gloomspire 👾
A dark fantasy videogame with retro aesthetics.
An indie game inspired by D&D.
A world in decline with vanished gods inspired by the artist Plastiboo and his videogame manuals.

Remulus, the blind blacksmith of Everdeep Aurora, is portrayed as a massive ram with a sorrowful past hidden from most. In this image, his fur is a deep, rich black, his eyes glazed over with blindness, and his large horns are worn from years of hard work. The design is a detailed painting, showcasing the character's intricate features and the emotion etched into his face. The artist has captured every crease and wrinkle, every pain and regret, in stunning clarity and depth, making Remulus a truly captivating and haunting figure to behold.

#EverdeepAurora fun fact. The first take on Ribbert & Rena’s theme (technically version 1.5) was supposed to be two separate pieces that synced when layered. We shelved that idea after Viktor came in with the final tracks.
