I'd like to thank everyone who made a submission to this inquiry - who shared their lived experience and expert evidence.

From First Peoples on this land, to Palestine, West Papua, Xinjiang, Sri Lanka, Tibet, and all victims of genocide around the world, I stand with you.

It comes as no surprise that this bill was voted down by the major parties.

The rejection of the bill speaks to the colonial and genocidal interests of this government, with Labor and the Coalition protecting their political interests over international justice.

Today my Genocide Bill was debated and voted on in the Senate: www.instagram.com/p/DHpoALOxlwd/

The demand of the bill was simple: that perpetrators of genocide, war crimes, and other crimes against humanity, should be held accountable - whether in this country or overseas, whether past or present.

What is Labor’s position on jailing children and denying them bail? The Prime Minister says one thing, his Minister for Indigenous Australians says another.

I’m calling for the federal government to take concrete action on bail by funding therapeutic bail support and supervision.

Federal government challenged on PM's support of Vic bail laws The debate around the Prime Minister's support for the 'harsh' bail laws in Victoria has intensified, with Senator Lidia Thorpe asking if the federal government believes incarcerating children is a po...

"the PM's explicit support of Victoria's policy surprised even Labor MPs who spoke to National Indigenous Times"

Yet another case of Albanese manhandling, cutting across and contradicting his ministers to chase cheap popularity.

Shame on Albanese.

South Australia's arts leaders weigh in on Venice Biennale fallout - InReview | InDaily, Inside South Australia The dumping of artist Khaled Sabsabi has been described as “shameful” and “dangerous” by prominent South Australian curators.

“Creative Australia now have a huge dilemma of their own making. They surely have little choice but to reinstate their chosen and worthy Venice Biennale artist. However an empty Australian Pavilion in 2026 might also be a powerful statement.”

If nuclear power plants are built, it will require us to switch off our solar panels. Try researching this before you rubbish it. And nuclear is NOT clean.

You call surplus nuclear energy 'clean energy' then I suggest its you on something. It's you who are deluded if you think nuclear energy is clean.

Australia doesn't need surplus nuclear energy that will require us to switch off our solar panels. Nor do we need your nuclear waste. So go flog your antiquated dangerous power source else where.

Will we have a COVID wave, spike or blip this Christmas? It depends where you live For some, the current peak of the wave has passed. For others, it’s more a slow rise in cases. Here’s what we can expect as the festive season approaches.

“all jurisdictions for which we have data have seen a rise in COVID activity but only Tasmania and Victoria have seen a clear surge or wave.”
