They would let him outside now and again and he always came to me. Mr. Boots would show up all Spring/Summer like clockwork; I was his second home.

Some 25+ years ago, I woke up in my screenhouse with a little kitten sleeping on my stomach. He stayed there for a hours and then ran out. I tried to find where he was, but couldn't. A neighbor's father (elderly) found him and took him in. Every year since then "Mr. Boots" would visit.

I was just informed that my little buddy, Mr. Boots will not be visiting this Spring/Summer. Time finally caught up to him. 😓
