The IR discipline must leave the unipolar indulgences of the post-Cold War era behind us. We have genocide in Palestine and Sudan, war in Europe, an emerging multipolarity, a rising China and declining US, a revisionist Russia, nascent global fascism, and a climate crisis. Time to get serious.
